Handling soap making ingredients in Kenya safely
- Some soap making ingredients in Kenya bite. Wear gloves and eye protection when you handle caustic soda, LABSA or acids. Always add chemical to water, never water to chemical.
- Mix and store away from food, and out of reach of children.
- Test a small batch before you scale up. Water hardness and ambient temperature change how a formula behaves.
- Safety data sheets are free on request for every one of the soap making ingredients in Kenya we sell.
Kenyan standards for these materials are published by the Kenya Bureau of Standards. Ask us for the safety data sheet on any line before you buy.
